Neglect is the persistent failure to meet a child’s basic physical and / or psychological needs, likely to result in the serious impairment of the child’s health or development.
This neglect training course covers all you need to know to be effective at spotting the signs of neglect in any context. From a definition of neglect, through examples and its effects, you’ll have an all-encompassing view of the subject and how to put your understanding to work.
You’ll discover how other signs like hunger, lack of hygiene and apathy can be indicators of neglect in a child as well as how to spot types of child abuse.
