This bitesize training will provide an overview of the of the impact of Foetal Alcohol Syndrome on the lives of children, young people and their families. It will explore the signs and symptoms and how these are similar in presentation to other developmental delays. The extent of FAS isn’t known, a number of children with FAS are not formally diagnosed. The importance of early diagnosis and also ideas about how to support children and parents/carers will be explored.
